Song of the Swamp
The Chakchiuma Swamp is named for a tribe of Native Americans who lived around the Yalobusha River and lower Tallahatchie River. The title came from the frogs’ chorus as my mother and I walked along this trail. Unfortunately, a painting cannot capture every beauty of the outdoors.
